2cha was a Chinese bulletin board that was founded by “mormor” and ran from 2003 to 2012. Historically, it was a significant 'ACG' hub until its abrupt 10-month shutdown in 2005, then it mostly served as a link directory which technically housed some boards until it shuttered.

Around October 2003, “mormor” establishes a Futaba Channel-inspired 2cha at “2cha.omoe.net”,¹⁾ and they became a significant 'ACG' hub for Taiwanese users. However, the website suddenly went down on May 4, 2005, allegedly due to an ECPAT report,²⁾ and would not return until March 19, 2006. As a result, the users had mostly migrated to Komica/2cat and other alternatives during the 10-month shutdown.

By 2011, the website began sending its users onto “2ch.info”, a separate website founded in 2009, then the original “2cha.omoe.net” domain stopped working past 2012. There isn't a lot of documented information beyond this point, so it's unclear what happened to “2ch.info” after the archives stop in 2013, then there is the “2cha.org” domain which became part of Komica around 2022.
