Bootleg Pokémon RPGs

This article assumes that you know Pokémon has numerous names in Chinese-speaking regions. Please read that section, if you haven't.

Notes
- The term 'kējì' (科技) does have the literal meaning of 'science [and] technology', but it's often reduced to 'technology' in translation since you wouldn't normally think of science in these fields.
- Do note that 'Fuzhou Waixing Computer Technology Co., Ltd.' (福州外星電腦科技有限公司, Fúzhōu Wàixīng Diànnǎo Kējì Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī), shortened to 'Wàixīng Kējì' (外星科技) or 'Waixing', is actually a publisher, so most of their associated works were actually 'Mars Production' works.
1)
While The King of Fighters is typically called 'Quán Huáng' (拳皇, lit. “Fist Emperor”) in Mainland China, the series also has the name 'Gédòu Tiānwáng' (格鬥天王, lit. “Fighting Emperor”) in Taiwan.
2)
The phrase 'Jiéjīngtǎ Zhī Wáng' (結晶塔之王) is actually short for 'Jiéjīngtǎ de Dìwáng' (結晶塔的帝王, lit. “Emperor of the Crystal Tower”), the original name for Pokémon 3: The Movie.
