Dokuo

Dokuo (毒男(ドクオ), lit. “Poison Man”), or Dokuwo (ドクヲ), is an AA character that came from 2channel's /male/ board on December 27, 2002.¹⁾ As he voices the mental struggles of single men, NEETs, and virgins, the majority of 2channel's userbase, many users emphasized with him.

Summary

The character has an apathetic, passive, pessimistic personality, yet worries about being a single virgin who could possibly live his life without ever having a partner. This despair is further amplified as he often hears sex noises²⁾ from the next room over. In the end, Dokuo will attempt to commit suicide by hanging himself, but he usually won't actually die for some reason.
