Sukusuku Hakutaku (すくすく白沢, lit. “Quick Hakutaku”) are round, fluffy creatures that were illustrated by “upg” on September 6, 2008, originally being designed after Keine Kamishirasawa from Touhou Project in her were-hakutaku form.¹⁾

The Sukusuku Hakutaku is widely believed to be based on the “Sukusuku Inufuku” (すくすく犬福) from the PlayStation 2 game, Quiz & Variety Sukusuku Inufuku (クイズ&バラエティすくすく犬福), though the artist never actually confirmed this. The original has a white-green color scheme based on Keine's EX form, though some people joke about how they just look like a “moldy daifuku” (カビ大福, kabi daifuku) with horns.

Many subspecies have emerged, being themed after characters from Touhou Project and other series, and some fan artists draw them co-existing in the Touhou Project universe, similar to Yukkuri. It's said that the Sukusuku Hakutaku are actually born as a white ball and their diet determines their pigment, until they wash it off. Their head accessory (e.g. horns, etc.) and tail shapes seem to be affected by other elements.
