Colours and Mayhem

“Colours and Mayhem”, stylized as “coloUrs and mayhem”, were two official Homestuck fan albums that were released in 2012 as a part of a music contest.1) As of 2019, the two albums were merged into one for the low price of $4.13, compared to the initial price of $8.00 each.

Tracklist

The purpose of this article is to show the original names and association of certain songs in the two album since the information is poorly conveyed on existing wikis.

Universe A

“coloUrs and mayhem: Universe A” is the first half of the compilation that was originally released on April 2, 2012 and it notably has the most songs included in Homestuck. Within hours of its release, there was a minor controversy involving “Indigo Archer” and “Purple Tyrant” as it was quickly discovered that the songs were actually “Switch” and “A Functioning God” from Frozen Synapse.
