Pokémon Gold (Mars Production)

Pocket Monsters: Gold (口袋精靈(ポケットモンスター) 金, Kǒudài Jīnglíng: Jīn), also known as Pokémon Gold, is an unlicensed Chinese port of Pokémon Gold, developed for the Famicom by Mars Production and possibly published by Waixing. It is rumored to have an updated port under “Crystal” instead.

This isn't meant to be a full article, just a brief article about the music.

List of BGM Sources

The soundtrack of Pokémon Gold primarily features poor, two-channel renditions of a few select pieces from Carl Czerny's Op. 821: “160 Eight-Measure Exercises”. Utilizing classical music in the public domain for unlicensed works is pretty common. A few unused tracks exist within the game's files, such as the Dark Seed port's theme, and the two unused, one-channel “music” tracks are not included here.
