Yōkanman

Yōkanman (ようかんマン), or Youkanman, is a simple yōkan-themed AA character that surfaced in 2channel's /mona/ board around February 2004. They will declare a 'savior' (救世主, kyūseishu), make some elaborate puns on 'zu' (図) or 'chōshi' (調子),1) then proceed to get sliced.

Notes

  • 'Yōkanman' has the less fortunate nickname of 'Yōkanman' (幼姦マン, lit. “Child Rape Man”).
  • It doesn't seem like anybody really understands how this character got popular.
