Zonu (ぞぬ) is a strange, fictional creature which originated in a 2channel thread on /qa/ back in April 24, 2000.¹⁾ It comes from a story about fried food at convenience stores that use 'Zonu Meat' from Shikoku, allegedly an edible, light brown dog with underdeveloped hind legs and a long tail.

At some point, somebody made AA of Zonu, but people later found out that it's actually just recycled AA that puts the head of “Tadakichi-san” (忠吉さん) from Azumanga Daioh on top of Mona's legs.
