m9(^Д^), or Pugyā (プギャー), is a simple kaomoji that shows a person laughing at the viewer and pointing with their right hand. It's currently believed that the emoticon came into existence in 2channel around 2004, with “pugya” (プギャー) being a variant of “pugera” (プゲラ).
