Yami no Rumia

Yami no Rumia (闇のルーミア, lit. “Rumia of the Darkness”) is a Touhou Project action platform fan game developed by “Otter's Arcadia” and it released at Comiket 81 on December 29, 2011, before its online release the next Rumia Day on January 7, 2012.

The game's title is a play on Hoshi no Kirby (星のカービィ, lit. “Kirby of the Stars”), the Japanese name of the Kirby franchise, so you can expect a Kirby parody with elements from Touhou Project. While it doesn't have an explicit story, some inference can be done on the game's opening sequence. Rumia was taking a nap, but wakes up, and see that a bunch of doors have appeared around Gensokyo.

You can find six “Darkness Shards” (闇の欠片, Yami no Kakera) throughout the game which will allow you to meet the true final boss and achieve the good ending. They can be found in obscure, monochrome rooms within Stages 1-4, 2-2, 3-2, 4-3, 5-5, and 6-6. A guide on how to collect these shards can be viewed here on Niconico Douga.

  • The game is likely developed in WOLF RPG.
