George Nagaoka

George Nagaoka (ジョルジュ長岡, Joruju Nagaoka) is a very simple AA character who swings his left arm and chants about breasts, hoping it'd encourage women to show their breasts. He was, most likely, created and named on 2channel's /news4vip/ board around August 5, 2004.1)

Alternate chants

  • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 Eirin! Eirin! (えーりん!えーりん!)
In the Touhou Project song, “Flight of the Bamboo Cutter ~ Lunatic Princess”, some people imagined that the 1:21 mark sounded like Kaguya calling for Eirin's help. This was further popularized by the 2004 arrange, "Help me, ERINNNNNN!!", by BeatMario under the “COOL&CREATE” doujin circle.
    • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 Chāhan! Chāhan! (チャーハン!チャーハン!)
For the Gachimuchi-themed MAD video of said arrange, the chant became 'chāhan' (fried rice),2) which is actually a mishearing of Billy Herrington's “How do you like that, huh?” line.
    • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 AMEN† AMEN†
There was a lesser known Hellsing-themed MAD video of said arrange, where the chant became Alexander Andersen's utterance of Amen from the OVA.3)
  • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 Fuu♪ Fuu♪ (フウゥッ♪フウゥッ♪)
Some versions of the comedic “DanJo” song4) adds the arm pump and 'foo' sounds at the 0:47 mark.5)
  • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 Kobe! Kobe! (神戸!神戸!)
In the Marines–BayStars exhibition match on March 3, 2010, some musicians decided to borrow the Touhou Project song, “U.N. Owen Was Her?”, as a stadium anthem and chant for Takumi Kobe.6) Marines won 4–0, and it turns out that they'd also win the 2010 Japan Series that season.
  • ( ゚∀゚)o彡 Gēchisu! Gēchisu! (ゲーチス!ゲーチス!)
In the fifth generation of Pokémon games, Ghetsis' theme notably has a backing chant of his name.

Notes

  • In the CIA's Vault 7 leak from 2017, their list of Japanese-style emoticons notably contains the Touhou Project variant, 'Eirin! Eirin!',7) rather than the general 'Oppai! Oppai!' variant.
