SectaChan

SectaChan, or Sectachan, was a Spanish bulletin board established by “DC_Fulano” and it ran from February 3, 2007 to November 1, 2010, though its history technically spans far back to late 2005 under an obscure hentai forum where it was used to share images.

History

In late 2005, “DC_Fulano”, the forum administrator of “Secta Hentai [MX]”, set up a number of imageboards under “sectahentai.org/imageboards” which ran Wakaba and followed the same rules. They later ran into hosting issues around October 2006, forcing them to ask for donations that would improve the forums,¹⁾ and the forums came back online around December 2006 without the imageboards.

Then on February 3, 2007, it was announced that the imageboards would return as an independent website named SectaChan at “sectachan.org”²⁾ which ran Thorn,³⁾ but switched over to Trevorchan (Kusaba) on April 20, 2007.⁴⁾ Unlike its predecessor, SectaChan allowed non-pornographic discussions. Sadly, after three years online, the servers crashed on November 1, 2010.⁵⁾⁶⁾
