Leftychan is a left-wing bulletin board website that split off from Leftypol after reform attempts by “Zer0”, “Comatoast”, “Watermelon”, and “Zul” were thwarted on August 10, 2021. Due to “Zer0” having sysadmin access, Leftychan owns the original post-Bunkerchan database of Leftypol.

On August 8, 2021, “Zer0”, “Comatoast”, “Watermelon”, and “Zul” attempted to reform Leftypol's governing system, following internal drama,¹⁾²⁾ but “Caballo” made a preemptive strike³⁾ and forced the reformists to establish Leftychan at “leftychan.net” on August 10, 2021,⁴⁾⁵⁾ as the shitshow got “Krates” to retake Leftypol on August 12, 2021. Since it only lasted a few days, Leftychan was at a disadvantage.
