Leftychan is a bulletin board for left-wing politics which split from Leftypol, after its reform attempts were thwarted on August 10, 2021. Technically speaking, Leftychan still has Leftypol's original post-Bunkerchan database, but lost control of the original domain in the process.

On August 8, 2021, “Zer0”, “Comatoast”, “Watermelon”, and “Zul” had attempted to reform Leftypol's governing system, following internal drama,¹⁾²⁾ but “Caballo” made a preemptive strike³⁾ and forced these reformists to establish Leftychan at “leftychan.net” on August 10, 2021,⁴⁾⁵⁾ as the shitshow got “Krates” to retake Leftypol on August 12, 2021. Since it only lasted a few days, Leftychan was at a disadvantage.

• I would've been more inclined to fix this sooner if they didn't delete their early history and neglected to archive what they had deleted. They don't check their @leftychan.net emails either.
