Tablecat is a Western-specific AA character that borrows a cat with Fuun's face,¹⁾ not to be confused with Sueja, and replaces it with Mona's face. It initially appeared on 4-ch in 2005,²⁾ then World4ch in 2006.³⁾ That aside, it's just a wacky cat that says uncharacteristic things.

We can infer that the 'adult Fuun cat' that says 'Fuunnya' (ふーんにゃあ) was the probable origin,⁴⁾ then some user edited it to have Mona's face and posted in 4-ch on June 8, 2005.⁵⁾ This would spread to World4ch on June 28, 2006, where it started to speak.⁶⁾ At the time, LOLcats were becoming popular, so “I'm sitting on ur table, strokin my harbl” was one of the more popular lines,⁷⁾⁸⁾ combining “in ur base” and “harbl”.⁹⁾

• Some people would link a 144p YouTube video from March 19, 2007 where a man would zoom in on a white cat, saying “Table cat. Cat on the Table. It's the table cat, with the cat on the table.”¹⁰⁾
• It should not be confused with Smudge¹¹⁾ from the 2019 meme, woman yelling at a cat, that has unfortunately decimated the search results for “table cat”.
